Barbara A. Cooper

BATH - Barbara A. Cooper, age 69, of East William Street, Bath died Thursday, October 4, at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital. She was born in Uhrichsville, Ohio, April 9, 1938 the daughter of the late Joseph and Charlotte Hall McConkey. She retired from being a legal secretary in the Bath area.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (David) Clark of Bath, her son, Kenneth (Virginia) Cooper of Lusby, Maryland; three sisters, Joanne (Steven) Sheehan of Bat, Mary Patricia Smouse of Hammondsport and Sally (Richard) Stebbins of Newark, one brother: J. William (Mary Anne) McConkey of Red Creek, six grandchildren, Cassie (Bryan) Stymacks of Prince Frederick, Maryland, Lindsay Cooper of Lusby, Maryland, Lauren Clark of Bath, Andrew Clark of Bath, Craig Clark of Bath and Kyle Clark of Bath, sister-in-law, Janice (William) Chamberlain of Bath and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald Cooper in 1997.

Friends may call on Sunday, October 7 from 1- 3 p.m. at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m. with President Robert Anderson officiating.
