C-S sports boosters host fall fundraisers

CAMPBELL - The Campbell-Savona school district's Booster Club will host a series of fundraisers through the fall, beginning with an Italian dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Campbell American Legion. Food will include lasagna, homemade pasta sauce with meatballs, sausage, an antipasta salad and Italian desserts. Entertainment will be provided by local students.

The dinner will coincide with the school district's first inter-collegiate game: Houghton college vs. St. John Fisher, with three teammates on each team who were members of the Campbell-Savona school district's Class C State Champion team of 2005-06.

The game will be from 3 to 6 p.m. at the high school.

The Booster Club also will sponsor a daily winning number raffle. Tickets are $10 with winnings up to $1,000. Tickets will be available at the game and Italian dinners.

On Nov. 11, the Booster Club will host its second Donkey Ball Game from 3 to 6 p.m. at the high school.

Club members also will sell Christmas wreaths at holiday time.

"The City" dining coupon books may be ordered or purchased at any of the club's promotions.
