C-S Booster Club to host fall fundraising events

CAMPBELL - The Campbell-Savona school district's Booster Club will host a series of fundraisers through the fall, beginning with an Italian dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Campbell American Legion. Food will include homemade pasta sauce with meatballs; lasagna and add-ons: sausage, an antipasto salad and Italian desserts. Entertainment will be provided by local students.

The dinner will coincide with the school district's first intercollegiate basketball game: Houghton college vs. St. John Fisher, with three teammates on each team who were members of the Campbell-Savona school district's Class C State Champion team of 2005-06.

The game will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the high school.

The Booster Club also will sponsor a daily winning number raffle. Tickets are $10 with winnings up to $1,000. Tickets will be available at the game and Italian dinners.

On Nov. 11, the Booster Club will host its second Donkey Ball Game from 3 to 6 p.m. at the high school.

Club members also will sell Christmas wreaths at holiday time.

"The City" dining coupon books may be ordered or purchased at any of the club's promotions.
