Auxiliary members attend Seventh District Fall Conference in Newark

The annual American Legion Auxiliary Department of New York Seventh District Fall Conference was held last month at the Quality Inn in Newark, NY.

Attending from Steuben County were:

Bath Charles E. Wescott Unit 173: Mary Jane Orr, Janet Bruce, Cathy Zydanowicz, Irene Hall, Connie Palmer and Vicki Milton, Past 7th District President for year 2006-2007. Vicki Milton also represented Unit 173 at National Convention held in Reno Nevada in August 2007.

Arkport Legion Post Unit 1248: Angelina Karr.

Cohocton Ouderkick - Cragg Unit 805: Harriett Paul.

Corning John P. Eaton Unit 407: Emma West, Mary Ann Mineo, Gloria Fay, Olive Stam, Joyce Mehring, Doreen Crane, Marilyn Bozich and Mary Lou Belles.

Hammondsport Roswell - McDaniels Unit 407: Mildred Gardiner and Sharon Rooks.

Department President Carol Johnson and Department Vice Presidents Sue Britton, Karyn Porempski and Nancy Kurk communicated messages and programs for this administrative year on Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, Children & Youth and Membership.

In attendance were 137 Auxiliary members from the 7th District. 18 Auxiliary members attended from Steuben County.
