Students receive scholarship awards

• Ariele J. Sieling, a resident of Bath and a student at Monroe Community College, was recently named a recipient of the MCC Scholarship.

• Graceland University has awarded Amanda Warriner of Bath the 2007 Wallace B. Smith Scholarship for leadership.

Amanda Warriner of Bath won third place and a $1,500 scholarship for her essay on her vision for the future of the Community of Christ. The Vision contest was part of the church's SPECtacular week at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
