Benefit to help local man receive lung transplant
From STAFF REPORTS

BATH - Larry Webber of Bath hadn't known Vincent Botton for long before he realized the man needed help.

"Vinny has emphyzema of the lungs," Webber says. "His lungs are deteriorated and pitted. "It's hard for me to see him cough up blood."

To help his friend, Webber has organized a benefit, to be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 1 at the National Hotel. The gathering will raise funds to help finance a lung transplant for Botton, who lives on Liberty Street with his son, Josh, a senior at Haverling High School. Botton also is the father of six other children.

"I've seen Vinny with his kids, and he lives for them," Webber says. "Please come and sponsor Vinny."
