Courier-Advocate sponsoring food drive

BATH - The Courier-Advocate wants to help its readers get in the holiday spirit.

That's why, beginning Monday and continuing through Christmas, Publisher Colleen Neeley invites area residents to stop by the Courier office, located at 10 W. Steuben St. in Bath, and drop off canned or boxed food items, paper products, toiletries or baby products for a holiday food drive.

The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Courier also will provide a free classified ad to each family whose member contributes to the food drive. Drop off your holiday contribution and receive a coupon entitling your family to a free five-line classified ad with a value of $6 (one coupon per family).

Local food pantries need generous support year-round, but especially during the holiday season. The Courier will deliver all donated items to food pantries in Bath, Avoca, Prattsburgh and Hammondsport.

Please consider your neighbors in need, and stop by The Courier-Advocate with a donation. It will put you in a great holiday spirit!
