Man may be charged after house burns

      BATH - Authorities have not yet determined if charges will be filed against a Bath man who burned down an abandoned Faucett Road house Friday night, Nov. 9. Troopers said the man owned the rural home, but likely violated state environmental laws by burning it down.

      Unlicensed operation Deputies last week charged David Ross Hively Jr., 44, of North Main Street, Prattsburgh, with second degree criminal contempt and second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He is to appear at a later date in Prattsburgh town court.
