The Blotter Deputies last week charged David Ross Hively Jr., 44, of North Main Street, Prattsburgh, with second degree criminal contempt and second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He is to appear at a later date in Prattsburgh town court. Probation violation Sheriff's deputies last week arrested Michael J. Bloss, 27, of 22 Mechanic St., Prattsburgh, on a charge of probation violation. Bloss was remanded to the Steuben County Jail and is to appear in town court at a later date. False report Bath based State Police, working in conjunction with Steuben County Child Protective Services and the Steuben County District Attorney's Office, have concluded an 11 month investigation with the arrest of Holly L. Smalt, 20 years old, 39 Green Meadows Trailer Court, Bath. Troopers allege Smalt made a false report of child abuse to the New York State Child Abuse Hotline in Jan. of 2007. Smalt was arraigned in the Town of Bath Court and committed to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash/$20,000 property bond Unlicensed operation Steuben County Sheriff's deputies last week arrested a New York City man after an investigation in the Village of Bath. Willie Bowman Jr., 44, was charged with seconddegree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a property damage accident after deputies noticed Bowman's vehicle had a flat tire and damage to the front end. He was remanded to the Steuben County Jail and is to appear in Bath village court at a later date. |
