Knights of Columbus sponsoring 'Care' program

BATH - The Bath Knights of Columbus has begun its annual Care and Share Program, through which toys and food baskets are distributed to needy families.

The organization will be open Dec. 1 and Dec. 8 at St. Mary's Hall on East Morris Street for families to sign up for the toys programs. Toys will be distributed Dec. 15.

Food baskets are available by calling the K of C at 776- 3666 or 776-3538.

Donations in support of the program should be mailed to P.O. Box 745, Bath, NY 14810.

The annual program includes "Santa's Day Off," when area residents can drop off presents at 5 Star Bank on Liberty Street in Bath. Santa's Day Off has been scheduled for Dec. 6 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
