• The Keuka Lake Players are delighted to be kicking off the Hammondsport Christmas in the Park celebration on Saturday, Dec. 8, with a performance in the First Presbyterian Church, on the Village Square, from 4-5 p.m. The players will use the classic O. Henry story, "The Gift of the Magi," as a framework for performing old and new Christmas songs. As they close their program, they will lead the audience outside for the 5 p.m. tree-lighting ceremony to begin the park festivities, and then carol through the park and shops during the evening event. The KLP will also host a collaborative fundraiser with the Presbyterian Church. There is much fun to go around and it's hoped that many people will join in this truly local tradition.
