ReThreads reopening

BATH - The ReThreads Clothing Pantry in Bath, will re-open Dec. 5 at 1 p.m.

ReThreads is located at 7 East William Street, just a few steps east of the intersection of Liberty St. and William St in the central business district.

The clothes pantry offers shoes, coats and clothing for individuals and families who present a voucher from a social service or human service agency, or a church or school.

Vouchers can be obtained from the Steuben County Department of Social Services, Turning Point/Catholic Charities, any Bath area public school; or from any of the following churches: Centenary United Methodist Church, Bath Baptist Church, Bethel Assembly of God Church, 1st Presbyterian Church of Bath, North Urbana Chapel, Savona Federated Church, St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Thomas Episcopal Church. ReThreads accepts vouchers only, we do not accept money.

ReThreads will also participate in the Spirit of Christmas celebration in downtown Bath on Friday, Dec. 7 from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. The clothing pantry's pavilion will be located in Pulteney Park, or stop by ReThreads at 7 East William St. for a cup of hot chocolate or hot apple cider.

Any organization that would like to offer vouchers for ReThreads, should call the Reverb Ministries office at 607-769-0767. Clean, gently worn or new clothing is preferred.
