Pornography

Bath village police last week charged a 32-year-old village resident with two counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, a Class E felony.

Kelly R. Brown was arraigned in Bath village and is to reappear in court at a later date. The defendant allegedly possessed several graphic files that were confirmed as child pornography.

The charges were filed after an investigation by the Bath Criminal Investigation Unit in conjunction with the state police Computer Crime Unit, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the New York Internet Crimes against Children Task Force. The agencies investigated a complaint of a person possessing and promoting child pornography in the Village of Bath in August

State police in Bath last week arrested Malcolm D. Madison, 52, of Bath on a charge of felony driving while intoxicated following a stop on Interstate 86. He was remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash/ $2,000 property bond and is to appear at a later date in Campbell town court.

State police last week charged Ernest E. Harley, 78, of Bath with driving while intoxicated. He is to appear in Bath town court at a later date.

State police last week charged Katelynd C. Kennard, 17, of Prattsburgh, with driving while intoxicated. She is to appear in Bath town court at a later date.
