Avoca defeats Bradford

BRADFORD - Avoca scored over half of its points in the fourth quarter, as the Tigers downed Bradford in a non league game 25-13 Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Avoca led 12-8 after three quarters before they broke out for 13 points in the final quarter to put away the Braves.

Alli Robards led the Tigers with eight points, while teammates Brooke Hammond and Brittany Geffers each netted six.

Bradford was led by Chelsea Dykes, who recorded seven points and pulled down eight rebounds in the loss.

Avoca improved its record to 2-0.
