Haverling girls swim team award winners

The Haverling Girls Swim Team held their awards banquet on Monday, Nov. 26th at the American Legion.

Award winners are: Outstanding Effort - Logan Clark, Logan Muller and Alyssa Duby; Outstanding Leadership - Jodi Lindmark; Record Breakers - Casey Smith, Alyssa Duby, Alexa Gleason and Liz Congdon; Everritt Kiff Outstanding Dedication Award - Casey Smith; Most Valuable Swimmer - Liz Congdon.

In addition the Haverling Swim Team was recognized as New York State Scholar Athletes. The grade point average for the swim team this season was 95.47. The New York State Scholar Athlete award began in 1992 to promote and recognize athletic teams with a 90 or better average. The Haverling Girls Swim Team has been named to the New York State Scholar Athlete Team sixteen years in a row. Members who were named to the team include Amanda Stilwell, Anna Wheaton, Sarah Bates, Logan Clark, Leah Flint, Laura Hapeman, Maria Lehman, Allie Whaley, Hannah McNally, Caitlin vonHagn, Michelle Neu, Jessica Smith, Alyssa Carpenter, Ashley Todd, Nicole Trenchard, Katelyn Wood, Liz Congdon and Jodi Lindmark
