Learn basics of financial planning

BATH - As soon as the holidays are over it will be tax time and a good time to learn how to maximize the use of your hard earned money through financial planning. But what is financial planning? Cornell Cooperative Extension of Steuben County will show you in a workshop entitled Financial Planning for Busy People on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Dormann Library's Empire Room.

Presenter will be Amy Irvine, financial advisor for Corning Credit Union Investment Services, a Division of Corning Credit Union. She will help the group understand important investment basics and how to compare retirement plans. Even people who do not feel like they have extra money for investing can learn some important tips on managing their money.
