Stanley J. Schutt

SAVONA - Stanley J. Schutt, 81, of Robie Road, Savona, died Wednesday, Dec. 5 at home.

He was born in Tioga Center, the son of the late John and Coral Grover Schutt. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was retired from the Iron Workers Union in Rochester. Stanley and his wife Betty celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in Sept. of 2007. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed hunting very much.

He is survived by his wife Betty J. Sutherland Schutt, daughter Jean Boward, grandson, Finley Boward all of Savona and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers Robert, Allison, Warren, Merle and Phillip and two sisters, Mildred Mangon and Mary E. Worth.

Funeral services will be held on Monda,y Dec. 10 at 1:30 p.m. at the Bath VA Union Chapel with Reverend Henry Igras officiating. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery. Fagan's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
