Joyce C. Gettings

PRATTSBURGH - Joyce Claire Patricia Gettings, 75 formerly of Prattsburgh died Dec. 1, in Labelle Florida.

Joyce was born March 18, 1932 in Jamaica Queens and was the daughter of the late Frances and Florence Lenjou.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 53 years, William L. Gettings, are daughters, Tracy (Ronald) Perkins of Prattsburgh; Cary (Martin) Muggleton of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; and son, Michael (Tina) Gettings of Prattsburgh; grandchildren Matthew, Christina, Brandi, Jesse, Kara, Ryan, Andrew and Rachael and two greatgrandchildren; one sister, Jeanne Radke of Huntington and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at the Bottoni-Wood Funeral Home, 4 Mechanic St., Prattsburgh on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 2-4 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, North Main Street, Prattsburgh with Father Robert Ring and Deacon James Hankey, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joyce to the United Way of the Southern Tier, Civic Center Plaza, Corning, NY 14830.
