Bath defeats Hornell

HORNELL - Bath Haverling won two-thirds of the matches Thursday, Dec. 6, to take a seasonopening win over Hornell, 54-19.

Bath's Cody Hutcheson led the Rams with a pin in 1:23 at the 171-pound class, while Isaac Colz, Jason Carpenter and Zack Simons also won via pins. Teammates Brian Hojnoski and Matt Yram won close decisions for Bath and Billy Crowe took an injury default decision for the win. Kyle Conrad, Mitchell Buckley and Brady Gleason all won by way of forfeit for the Rams. Hornell's only pin of the match, while Joe Sirianni, Mike Stoddard, Matt Aker and Darren Armaly all won decisions for the Red Raiders.
