Poor Sabrina has been at the Shelter a month now, and no one has come forward to claim her. She is a mature lady that is very vivacious & wise. Sabrina is well socialized, walks well on lead, likes other animals & knows obedience. Sabrina likes to be doted on and the center of attention. She has a lot of unconditional love on company to offer a senior friend in return. "Blaze" Terrier Mix, Redish Brown with White Markings, Block Head, Short Coat, 10 Months. "Blaze" was allegedly abandoned by his family. He seems to have good basic temperament, gentle demeanor & willing to please. "Blaze" still has things to learn, but his attentive nature (good at paying attention) suggests he will be a quick study. Blaze walks well on lead too.

"Lilly" Mix Breed (Perhaps Hound/Dalmatian,Collie), Black and White, ~35lbs., Young Adult, Short Coat, Female. "Lilly" was also admitted as a stray by dog control. This girl is extremely loving, and she desperately wants to be a lap dog! She has excellent manners and keeps her kennel exceptionally nice (we suspect she is very well house-trained). Lilly would be well suited to a family who appreciates having a canine shadow (she likes to stay close) and that likes to be lavished with doggie affection! "Brandy" Admitted as a stray. The person who admitted Brandy noted they had her for two to three months & described her temperament as friendly. DSH Mix, Yellow & White, Female, Adult (~3-6 Yrs.). "Brandy" has a very expressive face (sad & disheartened expression presently). She seems very stressed here at the Shelter with all the dogs barking in such close proximity, strange scents, etc. Needs an understanding cat person to come to her rescue (who doesn't mind that she doesn't currently want to be picked-up/held out of her security/house cage) and who will allow her time to adjust & to be herself. "Buttercup" has been homeless now almost 6 months (and was admitted as a stray) He is a neutered/male, DSH Mix, Adult (~2-4 Yrs.) that has large yellow eyes. He has a sandy color coat and has a friendly, but quiet & very laid back personality. He has tested positive for FIV (so needs an inside home). We encourage potential adopters to talk to their veterinarian about what his positive FIV test result means & the possibility of other cats in the household. "Peanut" DSH Mix, Female, Gray and White, ~6.5 months. "Peanut's" person was being evicted, so she needed to seek refuge at the Shelter. This little girl is very social, sweet & gentle. She likes to be held and is playful. "Destiny" DSH Mix, Spayed/Female, White with black and gray spots, Adult. "Destiny" was an abandoned mama cat rescued by our Cruelty Officer. She has been homeless now for six months, and all of her babies have been adopted. This lady is very lovable and quiet. She would provide great friendship to a human who is lonely.
