2007 CROP Walk nets more than $11,000

BATH - The 2007 Community CROP Hunger Walk brought in a total of $11,507.70, an amount very close to last year's receipts. The event attracted 119 walkers

of all ages from 27 area churches and civic organizations.

Of the amount raised, 25 percent will be used to assist local food pantries and the Pro-Action Nutrition Program for the Elderly. The remainder will be used for disaster relief and self-help and development programs the world over.
