Carl Lee Fairchild

ERWIN - Carl Lee Fairchild, age 51 of Pine Grove Dr., Victory Village, passed away at home on Sunday, Dec. 23.

Carl was born in Elmira, the son of Charles and Alberta Miller Fairchild, in 1956. In Sept. of 1975, he married the former Betty Braster in Webb Mills. Although Carl was disabled for many years, he still loved hunting, fishing, camping, loved horses, and competed in horseshoes.

Carl survived by his wife Betty; sons, Carl Fairchild, Jr. of Lindley, and Dan Fairchild of Lindley; daughter, Shannon Robertson of Elmira; mother, Alberta Morter of Elmira; brothers, Dan of Binghamton, Chuck of Pine City, Tom of Horseheads, and William of Elmira; sister, Nancy Blake of Watkins Glen; and uncle, Hank Fairchild of Elmira; special friend, Lucky. He had 13 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Carl was predeceased by his step-father, Lynn Morter.
