Donald E. Tilton Sr.
He was born Dec. 25, 1926, the son of Clarence and Alice Mechan Tilton in Bristol. On Nov. 4, 1950 he married Madeline Hurlburt. He is survived by his wife of 57 years; children Donald Jr. (Katheleen) of Ulysses, Pennsylvania, Beverly (Keith) Rankin of Marion, Illinois, Michael of Prattsburgh, Roger (Susan) of Bloomfield and Scott of Prattsburgh; ll grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; on e brother Kenneth (Shirley) Tilton of Florida; nieces and nephews; one sisterin law Patricia Tilton of Livonia. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother and a great grandson. Donald was a Veteran of the US Army Corp. or Engineers. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was a mechanic by trade and an employee of Air-flo Manufacturing where he worked for 28 years. A memorial service was held at the Baptist Church in Prattsburgh on Dec. 22. Bottoni-Wood Funeral Home in care of arrangements. |
