Sarah J. (Hughes) McKee

MAHAFFEY, PENNSYLVANIA - Mrs. Sarah J. (Hughes) McKee, age 91, of Mahaffey, Pennsylvania passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, at Ridgeview Nursing Home in Clearfield.

Mrs. McKee was born in Clearfield on April 2, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Bert J. and Wilhelmina (Young) Hughes.

She was a member of the EUB Church in Westover and a former member of the Grace Bible Church in Bath. She was also very active in the Harmony Grange.

She was the wife of Robert E. McKee who preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons William T. McKee of Nokomis, Florida and Stanley E. McKee of Bath; one daughter Peggy A. White of New Washington; two brothers William Hughes and Elmer Hughes of Harmony; eight grandchildren; ten great grand- children; one great great grandchild; a daughter-inlaw Jeanne Clift of Bath; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two sons Robert A. McKee and James V. McKee; and one sister Margaret E. Sebring.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, Jan. 5 at the East Ridge Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with Pastor John White officiating.
