Urbana officials' work appreciated

The voters of Urbana made their choice in November for a change in leadership. The time has come for some of the previously elected officials to step aside. We hope you will join us in showing appreciation to outgoing Supervisor Dick Gardiner, Trustee Tom Chadwick, Trustee John Webster and retiring Town Clerk Deb Pierce for over a decade of dedicated commitment to the citizens of the Urbana Township. They, along with trustees Connie Cook and Jim Presley have served to the best of their ability and have instituted and completed many programs/projects that have and will continue to be an asset to our town and surrounding area.

The voters have directed a change. We hope the first change will be to cease the tiresome rancor and persistent rumors that have hampered the governmental progress in the past year. It is time for the citizens of Urbana and the incoming team to work together for the good of the community.

We appreciate you, Dick, Tom, John, and Deb, for a job well done. It is hoped that more good work will continue where you have left off..

Robert and Lynn Domras Hammondsport
