Family Life Ministries founder honored

BATH - Family Life Ministries announced today that its founder and CFO, Dick Snavely, will receive the National Religious Broadcasters' (NRB) Milestone Award- an annual service award recognizing dedicated leaders in Christian broadcasting.

Nominated by NRB member organizations, Snavely was chosen from a select group of award nominees who have shown exemplary service in the field of Christian broadcasting for more than 50 years. Snavely will receive the Milestone Award at NRB's 2008 National Convention- the world's largest Christian communications exposition- on March 11 in Nashville, TN.

"This award is an amazing tribute to our founder and my father, Dick Snavely," said Rick Snavely, president, Family Life Network. "It's also reflective of our ministry staff and their tireless dedication to Christian service. Family Life recently commemorated 50 years of encouraging our communities with Christian programming. Receiving this award is a wonderful acknowledgement of that."

To celebrate the inception of Family Life over five decades ago, Snavely recently published his first book, "An Ordinary Guy with the Extraordinary God." For more information on the book, visit www.fln.org and click on "50th Anniversary."

National Religious Broadcasters is an international trade association of Christian communicators with over 1,700 member organizations.
