Babette M. (Munch) Vanderhoff Jones

BATH - Babette M. (Munch) VanDerhoff Jones, 45, of 1 Campbell Street, Bath, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, at her home.

She was born in the town of Urbana on May 8, 1962, the daughter of Richard A. VanDerhoff and Ethel A. Drehmer VanDerhoff.

She was a 1981 graduate of Savona (Bulldogs) Central School.

She married Raymond C. Jones on Sept. 11, 1993.

She worked at Phillips Lighting, Bath and OTB, she was a member of the Charles E. Wescott Ladies Aux. and VFW Aux.

She is predeceased by her father, Richard A. VanDerhoff.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond C. Jones of Bath; her son, Kelly C. Jones of Bath; her stepdaughter, Stephanie M. Jones; her mother, Ethel A. Drehmer VanDerhoff of Savona; her brothers, Ken (Ni cole) VanDerhoff of Cortland, Terry (Betty) VanDerhoff of Savona, Alan VanDerhoff of Savona, and Aaron (Joy) VanDerhoff of Bath; her mother and father-inlaw, Richard and Mary Jones of Bath; brother-in-law, Carl (Lori) Jones of Allegany; sisters-inlaw, Karen (Chaz) Stewart and Susan Twedt; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Michael, Devon, Derek, Tyler, Tiffan y, Phillip, Justin, Erik, Abbey, Timberly, Kathy, Rebecca, Jason, Christopher, Kyle, Amber and Joy.

Her service was held for family and friends on Thursday, Jan. 10, at the Centenary United Methodist Church at 4 p.m. with the Reverend Jeffery McDowell officiating. Everyone was invited to the Bath American Legion following the funeral service for a luncheon.

Her burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Seaman Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Babette's name to the Southern Tier Hospice or the Falck Cancer Center at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. NO FLOWERS - family will supply.
