Neighborhood Watch a positive force

To the Editor,

With all the negative news in the world today we often forget the positive stories. I have an uplifting story to share with the residents of the Bath community. Recently I attended a children's Christmas party that was hosted by the Neighborhood Watch Program. The party was very well planned; there were games, coloring, cookie decorating, and Santa Clause came to talk with the kids about the Christmas holiday. After leaving this party I thought about all the fun my children shared with all the other kids that attended the gathering. I was very pleased that I decided to take my children to this community event. We need to raise awareness in the village of Bath this is a community-based organization that keeps their focus on making the town of Bath a better place to live.
