Wedding announcement
Brandi Lynn Dockstader and Jereme Lee Bottum were married August 25, 2007 at the home of the bride's parents.
Brandi Dockstader is the daughter of David and Vicky Dockstader of Bath. She is a 2004 graduate of Avoca Central School and a 2007 graduate of Corning Community College. She is now employed at Painter's Meat Processing in Elkland, Pennsylvania.
Jereme Bottum is the son of David and Karen Bottum of Addison. He is a 2003 graduate of Addison Central School and is now employed at Painter's Meat Processing in Elkland, Pennsylvania.
TheReverend Jim Pearce of Hornell officiated at the double ring ceremony. High school chorus teacher of the bride, Kim Gardner of Canisteo and brother of the bride, David Dockstader of Bath were soloists. Organist was Rhonda Bulkey of Avoca.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory satin V-neck halter top with beading on the bodice, she wore a tiara and a hair comb attached to ivory netting and beading around the bottom in four little sections worn on the back of her head. Her bouquet was made of white, yellow and light blue daisies with white ribbons and strings of beads.
Maid of honor was highschool friend of the bride, Megan Sharp of Binghamton. She wore a periwinkle strapless satin A-line with a silver brooch at the left hip, carried a ivory fan with multicolored flowers with dark blue ribbons hanging down and also wore a circlet of multicolored flowers on her head.
Bridesmaids were friend of the couple, Cassie Brouwere of Addison; friend of the couple, Cassie Jeffers of Addison; college friend of the bride, Elise Eberhardt of Elmira; high-school friend of the bride, Nicole Westbrook of Avoca; friend of the brides family, Hilary Mitchell of Fremont. The bridesmaid's wore the same dress as the maid of honor but in a different shade of blue; their bouquets were similar with light blue ribbons hanging down and headpieces were the same as the maid of honor's.
Cheyanne, the flower girl was a black lab/border collie mix that is owned by the mother of the bride. Cheyanne wore a line of multicolored flowers over her front shoulders attached to her black harness and a white and blue bandana around her neck.
The groom wore black jeans, cowboy boots, ivory long sleeved western shirt, black leather vest and a black cowboy hat.
Best man was friend of the couple, Scott Milano of Syracuse. Ushers were friend of the couple, Chuck Koeggel of Addison; cousin of the bride, Chris Dickson of Avoca; brother of the groom, Channing Bottum of Addison; brother of the bride, David Dockstader of Howard; and friend of the couple, Ryan MacDonald of Scio. The best man and usher's all wore garb matching the groom's.
Ringbearers were a black lab/coon hound mix, Bandit, owned by the couple and black lab/beagle mix, Stitch, owned by the father of the bride. They wore white and blue bandanas around their necks and white satin ringbearers pillows tied to their black harnesses.
The reception was an outdoor buffet style with a pig roast at the home of the bride's parents. The bride's aunts and grandmother furnished most of the food.
Guests traveled from Cohocton, Addison, Avoca, Canisteo, Syracuse and Hornell.
A wedding trip has not been planned yet.
