BATH - The Bath Kiwanis Club last month held it's annual Christmas party for residents at Lakeview Apartments.
One hundred and twenty senior citizens enjoyed apple pie, ice cream, Christmas trivia, bingo, carol singing with the girl scouts and of course Santa Claus who handed out numerous door prizes.
The party is one of many annual events the Bath Kiwanis Club hosts. In December the club participated in Santa's Day off and Troopers Toys for Children. The last event for December was the Ringing of the Salvation Army bell at Tops November 28, 29, December 12 and 13.
All events included many Kiwanians' hard work. Upcoming events include Kiwanis Basketball, Kiwanis Trivia, and an open house on January 30 as part of a membership drive.
Bath Kiwanis Club meets every Wednesday at Club Valentine at 12:10 p.m. Interested in joining Kiwanis please contact Nancy Smith at 607-936- 6979.
