THE LEADER STAFF

BATH - The Bath Haverling swim team placed first in half of Monday's, Jan. 14, 12 events to complete a sweep of Addison and Campbell- Savona.

Luke Ferree and Dan Robinson led Bath with one indivdual win apiece, while also teaming up with Brian Vonderlin and Seth Skelly to take first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:56.17. Ferree won the 500 freestyle (5:47.03) and Robinson earned victory in the 200 individual medley (2:21.45) to give the Rams a 65-36 win over Addison and a close 55-46 defeat of Campbell-Savona.

Elliot Gloccum also took a first for Bath in the 200 freestyle (2:07.32), while Tony Sutfin won the 100 butterfly (1:13.96). Teammate Robbie Lindmark won the 1 meter diving event with a score of 161.

"I saw some real nice times," said Bath Haverling coach Mike Morris. "There is a lot of strategy in a trimeet, because you only get a couple kids in each race."

Campbell-Savona went 1- 1 on the day with a 64-38 win over Addison after falling to Bath by less than 10 points.

Drew Teter led the Panthers with individual wins in the 50 free (24.38) and the 100 free (54.42), in addition to his 200 free relay victory (1:48.19) with teammates Kyle Peterson, Jason Smith and Wade Harrington. Smith also won the 100 backst roke (1:07.47). Wade Harrington teamed up with Shannon Harrington, Brittany Buckley and Nick Pearl to win the 400 free relay (4:36.22).

Dan Carr earned Addison's lone victory with a time of 1:11.91 in the 100 breast-stroke.
