Frank A. Bartusiak BRADFORD - Frank A. Bartusiak, age 90, of Bradford, died Friday, Jan. 18, at the Taylor Health Center in Bath. He was born June 4, 1917 the son Alexander and Regina Jasinska Bartusiak. Mr. Bartusiak retired from Corning Inc. and had previously worked at Mercury Aircraft and Clark's Specialty in Hammondsport. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church in Bradford, the Knights of Columbus Council 5147 in Bath and a past member of the Hammondsport Moose and the Bath B.P.O.E. 1547. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed his ponds and playing and coaching softball. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were the apples of his eye that he loved very much. Survived by his son-inlaw William Wolverton; sister Lucy (Luther) Perkins of Hammondsport; grandchildren Wendy, Robert, Barton, Jannson, Brooke and Rebecca; many great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter Madison; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Jeannette; daughter Jeanne Wolverton; son James Bartusiak; grandson Richard Wolverton; sisters Agnes Fernan and Irene Bartusiak; and brother Alexander Bartusiak. A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Stanislaus Church in Bradford on Jan. 22 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Pat Connor as celebrant. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. |
