Geneviev C. Finneran NATICK, MASSACHUSETTS - Genevieve C. (Hayes) Finneran, 91, of Natick, Massachusetts died Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport, Massachusetts. She was the wife of the late Thomas B. Finneran who died in 1967. A Natick, Massachusetts resident for 55 years, she was born in Machias, NY, the daughter of the late Raymond and Nina (Reed) Hayes. Mrs. Finneran was a custom seamstress for over 40 years for the Fabric Place in Framingham and for other establishments and private homes. She was an avid reader and had previously worked as a dental technician in Bath. She is survived by three children, Gladys Scaccia of Union, Maine, James Finneran of Framingham, Massachusetts and Nina Iadarola of Ware, Massachusetts; two brothers, Alfred Hayes and Floyd Hayes both of Bath; one sister Isabelle Stinson of Maryland; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren. She was also the mother of the late JoAnne Finneran and sister of the late George Hayes. A Funeral Mass was offered on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 11:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Natick, Massachusetts. Burial followed in St. Patrick Cemetery. Visiting hours in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common, Massachusetts were held Tuesday morning beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the Mass. Haight BATH - Cyril C. Haight, age 65, of May Street in Bath, formerly of Monterey, died Monday, Feb. 4, at Corning Hospital. He was born in Hornby on Oct. 13, 1942,l to William and Anna (Freeman) Haight. He enjoyed helping his friends and family and working on cars. He is survived by his four sisters, Annabelle Banik of Painted Post, Patty Scudder of Corning, Dorothy (Raymond) Dehn of Buffalo and June (John) Boyce of Madison, Ohio; five brothers, William (Judy) Haight of Campbell, Donald (Rea) Haight of Corning, Henry (Katherine) Haight of Monterey, Roy (Debbie) Haight of Monterey and John (Kathy) Haight of Painted Post; his exwife, Donna Tuffree of Bath; and many nieces and nephews. Cyril was pre-deceased by two brothers, Ronald and Kenneth Haight. Friends called on Thursday, Feb. 7, from 1-3 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Corning where funeral services followed calling hours at 3 p.m. Burial was held in Sugar Hill Cemetery in Monterey. |
