Jacob G. "Jake" Schuck PULTENEY - Jacob G. "Jake" Schuck, age 77, of Brown Rd., Pulteney died Sunday, Feb. 3, at the Arnot- Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Friends and family called at the Bottoni-Wood Funeral, 4 Mechanic St., Prattsburgh, on Thursday, Feb. 7, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, Feb. 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Prattsburgh. Interment was held at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Prattsburgh. A luncheon followed at the Pulteney Fire House. Memorials may be made in Jake's name to the Pulteney Ambulance, 9203 Cty. Rte. 74, Pulteney, NY 14874 or to the American Heart Association, PO BOX 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049. Jake was born on Dec. 13, 1930 in Valley Stream, Long Island, the son of the late Jacob and Margaret Kiesel Schuck. He married Olga Gutow on Oct. 25, 1958. He was a life long farmer in Prattsburgh and was an avid gardener, hunter, and loved watching sports. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Olga (Gutow) Schuck on Feb. 26, 2000; and brothers, Elmer and Wilfred Schuck. He is survived by his children, Gary (Kamala) Schuck of Prattsburgh, James (Wendy) Schuck of Prattsburgh, Andrew (Maureen) Schuck of Penn Yan, Robert (Janice) Schuck of Hammondsport, Barbara Schuck of Canandaigua and Joseph Schuck of Pulteney; grandchildren, Mi c helle, Justyn, Michael, Jordan, Reece, Peyton, Bryce, and Braedyn Schuck; sisters, Margie (Angie) Gentile of Hornell and Connie (Mike) Skordynski of Elmira; sister-in-laws, Evelyn Schuck of Pulteney and Thelma Schuck of Penn Yan; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
