Trespassing

Steuben County Sheriff's deputies last week charged Adam Hosmer, 19, of County Route 8, Wheeler, with second degree criminal trespassing, unlawfully dealing with a child and fourth degree unlawfully dealing with a child.

Hosmer allegedly entered a Wheeler residence without permission to host underage drinking parties. He is to appear in Wheeler town court at a later date. The investigation continues.

Criminal mischief

Bath village police last week charged Scott G. Rivers Jr., 20, of state Route 53, Prattsburgh, with fourth degree criminal mischief following a fight on West William Street in the village. Rivers is to appear at a later date in village court.

Menacing

Bath village police last week charged Keith C. Graves, 48, of Rumsey Street, Bath, with second degree menacing following an incident in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot, where Graves allegedly threatened another individual with a razor. Graves is to appear in Bath village court at a later date.

Violation

Jamerson L. Abeel, 29, of 13 Old Field court, Bath, last week was charged with violation of the New York sex offender registry law for allegedly failing to notify village police of a change of address.

Abeel was remanded to the Steuben County Jail pending a future court appearance.

Forged instrument

John M. Young, 24, of 6546 state Route 415, Bath last week was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument stemming from a four-month long investigation into the cashing of forged personal checks in the village.

Young was arraigned and released on his own recognizance, to reappear in court at a later date.

Forgery

Stephanie A. Doyle, 32, of 534 Manor Village Apartments, Bath last week was charged with one count each of second-degree forgery and criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Doyle allegedly tried to obtain prescription medication with an altered New York state prescription form. She was arraigned in village court and is to reappear in court at a later date.
