Shirley A. Murray

BATH - Shirley A. Murray, age 79, of Fairview Drive, Bath, died Friday, Feb. 8, at the Taylor Health Center in Bath. She was born July 5, 1928 in Corning, the daughter of Frederick and Mildred Orr Frost. Shirley was a graduate of Addison Central School Class of 1946. She was previously employed by Ingersoll Rand in the Purchasing Department for six years and as a Library Aide at Haverling Central School for 18 years. She married Lawrence D. Murray Jr. on August 18, 1951.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence D. Murray Jr. of Bath; two sons, Mark (June) Murray and Kevin S. Murray both of Bath; three grandsons, Ryan (Anna) Murray of Nebo, North Carolina, Michael Murray of Seneca Falls and David Murray of Bath; sister, Edith Champlain of Bath; and nephew, Dan Champlain of Goshen. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Jennifer M. Jackson.

Friends called on Monday, Feb. 11, from 1-3 p.m. and 6- 8 p.m. at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath. A Memorial Mass was held on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Bath, with the Reverend John Wydeven as celebrant.
