Courier publisher takes reins of Dansville- Wayland Penny Saver

BATH - Colleen Neeley, publisher of the Courier- Advocate, has been promoted to the position of publisher of the Dansville-Wayland Penny Saver, Gatehouse Media Inc., The Courier's parent company, announced.

Neeley has served as publisher of The Courier since 1994. She will continue in that position until a successor is named.

Born and raised in Rochester, she has held sales and management positions at numerous newspapers, including the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, the Binghamton Press and Sun- Bulletin and the Oneonta Daily Star.

During her years with The Courier-Advocate, she has been active in numerous community organizations, including the Greater Bath Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bath Rotary Club and the board of trustees for the Dormann Library as well as the Free Community Papers of New York Association.

"Over the past 14 years, this beautiful region has become home," Neeley said.
