Comunity 'sew' will benefit cancer patients

HAMMONDSPORT - The American Sewing Guild will sponsor a community "Sit and Sew" from noon to 4 p.m. March 1 at the Hammondsport Fire Department to knit items for local cancer patients.

The event seeks volunteers with sewing equipment, especially sewing machines.
