Ex-teacher receives probation, fine

ERWIN - A former Addison teacher who pleaded guilty to public lewdness was sentenced Monday, March 3, to three years probation and was fined $415.

Anthony Fazzary, 43, of Corning, pleaded guilty in Oct. to public lewdness in connection with a July 19 incident at the Erwin Wal-Mart.

According to state police, Fazzary was reportedly masturbating under a blanket in his car. After he was arrested, Fazzary was removed from his position as a physical education teacher at Tuscarora Elementary School. He was reassigned to an unspecified position with the school district.

In late Dec., Fazzary resigned from the school district.
