Relay for Life to hold kick-off

BATH - The Bath-Hammondsport Relay for Life has scheduled its kick-off party for March 29 at 6 p.m. in St. Mary's O'Malley Hall on East Morris Street.

The kick-off is an opportunity for area residents to get more information on the Relay, sign up their teams, join an existing team, sign up as a survivor and share ideas with fell team captains.

Snack foods will be available during the event. The Relay for Life is the single event that brings together communities to take part in the fight against cancer. It's a time when people come together to celebrate those who have survived the disease, remember cancer victims and fight back against a disease that touches many lives.

Everyone is invited to participate in the Bath- Hammondsport Relay for Life, which is scheduled this year for July 11-12. For additional information, call Rita Hoover at 566-2604.
