A few facts on Barack Obama

I would like to start by saying that I applaud Pat Eaton for her attempt to enlighten people on what she thought were the truths about Barack Obama. Unfortunately , as a lot of people have been, she was misled about a lot of things.

With that fact in mind, I still don't think it was necessary to accuse the woman of bigotry, lying, and being worse than scum. In my opinion, the people who attacked her last week with those claims are the ones who should be ashamed of themselves. It was, after all, an innocent mistake.

With that said , I would like to enlighten a few people myself. This comes right straight from Snopes.com, so I did my homework. Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii. At the age of two , his mother and father divorced. His father moved to Connecticut and had little to do with his son's upbringing. At the age of six, his mother remarried and they moved to Jakarta, Indonesia. Obama attended a Catholic school named Fransiskus Assisi and then went on to attend another school that was primarily Muslim because most of Indonesia is populated by Muslims. The man has been taught several different religions, but is, in fact , a practicing Christian and has been since 1985.

There it is. The unadulterated truth for all to see. As far as people being worried that he's a practicing Muslim is something that people have the right to be concerned about. After all, radicals in the Muslim nation said, and I quote: "We will attack the infidels from the inside of their own country". So with that statement, why wouldn't people be concerned that a Presidential candidate might be a Muslim and have a hidden agenda? Is it that far fetched to believe such a thing? Now, we all know that this is not the case with Mr. Obama , but let's not attack people personally for being concerned. Not all people have access to computers , or have even heard of Snopes.com. So please , in the future , keep your remarks to the issue at hand and quit throwing around insults. People do make mistakes. Even you. God Bless America!
