A 'despicable' political system

I just wanted to poke a little fun at fellow Americans and our decrepit and despicable political system. Isn't it a huge relief that there are no real issues facing us, and that all we have to decide upon at the voting booth are gender, race and religion… just watch any news channel, including C-span.We have become a nation of closet hedonists. News is naught but Entertainment, Scandal and Prurient fantasy. We are cultured to revere the wealthy, the powerful, the elite. We are the most fear driven, jingoistic, gullible and manipulated society in the last 70 years… when that other famous self-proclaimed "Christian Conservative" gained control of the {then} worlds most powerful army.Even while your personal finances are being "nickeled and dimed to death" and you witness the stagnation and slow deterioration engulfing not only your own community but every community in the Country… You continue to agree to burn $220,000.00 per minute, every hour of every day, year after year on a military dream that is nothing more than a global war on civil liberties. Whether you have seen "Loose Change" or not I strongly urge all to view "Zeitgeistmovie.com" but know that it is well over 2 hours long and very, very heavy.
