The blotter Burglary Village police last week arrested Bonnie A. Gotham, 37, of Haverling Street, Bath, and Lee R. Smith, 47, of West Washington Street, Bath, on charges of second degree burglary and third degree grand larceny. Gotham and Smith allegedly entered a Haverling Street residence and stole a coin collection valued at $25,000 to $30,000. They were arraigned in village court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail on $10,000 cash or a $20,000 property bond. Stealing Bath village police last week arrested Theron C. Messina, 49, of Vermont Street on charges of second degree burglary and petit larceny for allegedly entering an apartment and stealing all the frozen food in the freezer. Messina was arraigned in village court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail. Unlawfully dealing Village police last week charged Michael C. Woodruff, 19, of 22 1/2 Steuben St., Bath, with first degree unlawfully dealing with a child. Woodruff allegedly gave alcohol to eight underage youths. He was issued an appearance ticket for a later date in village court. |
