Assault

Bath village police last week arrested Kenneth P. Mikko, 43, on charges of second degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police were processing Mikko on the disorderly conduct charge when he became combative with officers. He was arraigned in village court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or a $10,000 property bond.

Criminal contempt

Village police last week charged Dandell L. Young, 45, of Williamson, NY, with second degree criminal contempt for violating an order of protection.

Accident

Steuben County sheriff's deputies last week charged Stephanie N. Short, 20, of 7622 county Route 20 with driving at an unreasonable speed, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol level greater than .08 percent. She is to appear in court at a later date.

Criminal contempt

Steuben County Sheriff's deputy last week arrested Michael R. Ormsby, 32, of 6720 Cameron Road, Bath, on a warrant for criminal contempt. Ormsby was arraigned in county court and released on his own recognizance.

State police report charges

State police in reported the following charges:

• Jennifer M. Rethmel, 31, of Hammondsport, driving wile intoxicated.

• Gary R. Strait, 44, of Bath, d riving while intoxicated and speeding.

• Michelle L. Dean, 31, of Bath, driving while intoxicate.

• Michael T. Stone, 19, of Campbell, unlawful possession of marijuana.

• Anthony J. Palermo, 26, of Campbell, driving while intoxicated.

• Jessica A. Simons, 17, of campbell, petit larceny.

• Karen R. Saylor, 36, of Savona, first degree falsifying business records, criminall possession of a controlled substance, and numerous traffic violations.

• Everett S. Wargo, 22, Avoca, driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful operation of marijuana.

Dustin J. McUmber, 18, Campbell, unlawful possession of marijuana.

• Lia J. Shaw, 18, Hammondsport, driving while intoxicaed.

• Geoffry D. Ball, 19, Campbell, possession of alcohol by a minor.

Unlicensed operation

Village police last week charged David A. Cage, 46, of Roosevelt Avenue, Bath with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. In a related incident, police also charged James W. Cage, 50, also of Roosevelt Avenue with second degree facilitating an aggravated unlicensed operation.
