BATH FIRE DESTROYS GARAGE

MARY PERHAM/GATEHOUSE MEDIA Volunteer firefighters from five departments responded to a garage fire at 5920 County Route 10 around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3. The garage and its contents - including a pickup truck and two tractors - were destroyed in the blaze. It was owned by Claude Stephens. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Volunteers from Bath were assisted by firefighters from Kanona, Savona, Cameron and Hammondsport.
