Allegany County Exceptional Senior game results

The 2008 Steuben v. Allegany County Exceptional Senior game was held on Friday, March 7. Allegany was victorious in a defensive battle in the girls game by the score of 38-32. The Steuben boys won in an offensive shootout 89-69. Members of the girls team included, Heather Barniak, Judith Ernst, Kalyn Fries, Liz Gorges, Michelle Guild, Mackenzie Kraus, Raeleen Mullaney, Stephanie Neu, Amber Oilver, Jenna Presley, Amanda Prouty, Kalee Reynolds, and Sylvia Sable. Julie Bossard of C-G, and Brittany Wheeler of Prattsburgh will be representing Steuben county in the Ronald McDonald game.

The boys team included, Jake Clarkson, Bryan Dann, Caleb Drake, T.J. Dunning, Ryan Hadley, Doug Lewis, Brian Lorow, Bryce Ryan, Brett Ryan, Joe Wallace, Brandon Wallace and Camden Wright. Maynard Crane of Campbell-Savona and Wade Fuller of Prattsburgh will represent Steuben at the Ronald McDonald game. The cheerleaders were Brittany Bliss, Cursti Dombrowskas, Stacie Draper, Kayla McCann, Jordan Mullen, Ashley Nisbet, Mandy Secondo, Kaylee Smith, Alexandria Travis, Ashlee Travis, and Gina Whitfield. Allison Cagle of Avoca, Kristin Geunther of Arkport, and Sarah Sullivan of Addison will be representing Steuben county at the Ronald McDonald Game.

The All-County Boys and girls teams were also announced at halftime of each game. The boys second team was Bryan Dann of Addison, Camden Wright of Campbell-Savona, T.J. Dunning of Canaseraga, Jake Clarkson of Hammondsport, and Brennand Thurber of JT. First team members were Maynard Crane of C-S, Caleb Drake and Ryan Hadley of JT, Brandon Wallace of C-G, and Joe Wallace of Avoca. Wade Fuller of Prattsburgh was the MVP. Second team girls selections were Judith Ernst and Julie Bossard of C-G, Brooke Hammond of Avoca, Patty Capwell of Canaseraga, Bridgette Sutryk of Addison, and Corinne Wright of C-S. First team was Krsite Moose of Canaseraga, Meghan Wyant of J-T, Brittany Wheeler of Prattsburgh, Raegn Ryna of C-G, and Kaitlin Smith of CS. Katie Wyant of J-T was the MVP.
