The blotter Drug charges Bath village police last week arrested two village residents on drug-related charges after a five month investigation into the sale of narcotic drugs in the village. John W. Reese, 51, and Venus D. Adams, 43, were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance for allegedly selling narcotics from their residence at 111 E. William St., Bath. They were arraigned in Steuben County court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or a $20,000 property bond. DWI Bath village police last week charged Gerald C. Cleveland II, 38, of Liberty Street, Bath, with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, aggravated driving while intoxicated, operating an ATV on a public highway, and failure to display numbered plates for riding a three-wheeer on public streets. He is to appear at a later date in village court. False instrument Steuben County Sheriff's deputies last week arrested Elizabeth J. Dieter, 38, of 109 Howell St., Bath, on two counts of offering a false instrument for filing and fifth-degree welfare fraud. Dieter allegedly failed to report employment and income to the Social Services Department. She was arraigned in Bath town court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail with no bail. State police charges State police last week reported the following charges: • Rhiannon L. Zimmerman, 27, of Avoca, driving while intoxicated. • Christina H. Hojnoski, 36, of Bath, driving while intoxicated. • Richard Holley, 19, of Campbell, unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Steuben County indictments A Steuben County grand jury last week handed up the following indictments: • David Dodge, 32, of 4792 county Route 70A, Bath, two counts of felonious driving while intoxicated. • Mary Lou Prouty, 44, of 9 1/2 W. Morris St., Bath, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of driving while intoxicated. Marijuana
Sheriff's deputies last week charged Brandon M. Robenbolt, 22, of Savona, with unlawful possession of marijuana. He is to appear at a later date in Erwin town court. |
