The blotter DWI Steuben County sheriff 's deputies last week charged Shannon E. M. Latchaw, 24, of Penn Yan with driving while intoxicated after she lost control of her vehicle on county Route 76. The vehicle rolled over and came to rest in a field along the roadway. Minor injuries were reported. Latchaw also was charged with speed not reasonable, aggravated driving wile intoxicated and driving with a bloodalcohol level of .18 percent. She is to appear at a later date in Urbana town court. Burglary Bath village police last week arrested Rhyan L. Sullivan, 19, of 22 1/2 W. Steuben St. on a charge of third degree burglary. Sullivan allegedly broke into the Bath Coin and Jewelry Store, located at 18 W. Steuben St. In separate incidents, he also was charged with issuing a bad check and second degree harassment. He was arraigned in village court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or a $6,000 property bond. State Police charges State police last week also filed the following charges: • Lozier R. Pickering, 57, of Bath, driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .11 percent. • Michael J. Hawkins, 33, of Hammondsport, driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .12 percent. • Thomas C. Atwood, 19, of Savona, driving while intoxicated. Harassment State police in Bath last week arrested David P. Case, 56, of 2210 Goundry Hill road, Bradford on charges of second degree criminal contempt, second degree aggravated harassment and fourth degree stalking. Case allegedly contacted an individual in violation of an order of protection and acted in a manner that caused the victim to fear for their physical safety. He was arraigned in village court and committed to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or a $4,000 property bond. |
