Help our senior citizens

To the Editor,

Well look what Wal-Mart did. I hope all who didn't want Wal-Mart will think of the Senior Citizens.

Once a week if all will take one person from Spring Meadows or Lake View Apartments shopping because many have no cars. Be sure they get to their stores and out to lunch if they have money, and don't forget lunch.

Our government just gave us money. Well, that will cover gas and maybe bread and milk. Prices are going sky high and no end in sight.

How does a working man with a family make it daily? Hard to put food in his children's bellies and no second jobs out there.

I think Bath needs a Dollar General on the Bath-Savona Rd. Then all Roads will be covered.
