According to Dave Taylor Smith of WVIN Radio, the 2008 Tyrtle Beach Youth Fund Campaign has collected $20,000 out of more than $30,000 pledged donations. If everyone who pledged support for the fund drive follows through with their donation, the 2008 campaign could break the $33,826 record set in 2005, Smith said. To date, the fund drive, which raises money for youth organizations in central Steuben County, has raised more than $300,000 since its founding in 1992.
